Pudong Airport to Shanghai Train Station Transport Tips

It’s quite easy to transport from Pudong Airport to Shanghai Train Station by the airport bus of Line 5. Pudong Airport bus line 5 operates from 6:30am to 11:00pm Monday to Sunday. Riding time is about 100 minutes and ticket price is RMB 16-22 Yuan.

It takes about 50 minutes from Pudong Airport to Shanghai Train Station by taxi. Journey time by taxi is approximately 50 minutes and cost is about RMB 180 Yuan from 5:00am to 11:00pm. If you are taking taxi at late night from 11:00pm to 05:00am (the next day), taxi fare would be about RMB 240 Yuan as taxi fare at late night is higher.

      Good day.
      I wish to get the taxi charge from Pudong airport to any near by Shanghai Train station. Also please send me the details of the train schedule from Shanghai to Wuxi after 5pm any day. My flight arriving in Pudong airport at 3pm. Hope you will reply me asap.

    If I take the bullet train from Shanghai-Pudong airport into the city of Shanghai, what station – and name of neighborhood – is a centrally located one to disembark and find walking distance hotels? I have no clue what neighborhood in which to search for a hotel until I get an idea of where I could get off of the train. Thanks for any advice.

      You can find eye-catching signs indicating T1 or T2 terminal once you arrive at Pudong Airport.

    I’ll be arriving Pudong International Airport on 180500H May 13. Would like to check is there any MPV taxi operating in the airport? Because three of us with Golf travel bags and luggage need to arrive at Shanghai South Bus Station by 0800H. Prompt reply is very much appreciated
